Remember Me Sequel is “Ready to Be Made”

Recollect Me, released on last-gen consoles dorsum in 2022. Information technology gathered mixed reviews, but gained a large fan post-obit, due to its unique gameplay and its striking visual mode. Dontnod Entertainment, the studio behind Remember Me, and the recent Life is Strange, has shown interest in developing a sequel to Remember Me. Dontnod's creative manager Jean-Maxime Moris spoke more than about the status of their games at PAX E 2022.

In an interview with Siliconera, Moris explained the studio's involvement in developing a sequel to Call up Me , and the determination rests on Capcom,

"We know what nosotros would do for Remember Me two. The main story has been written nosotros know what we would add to the recipe. We know what we would fix. It's a game that's ready to be made, but that decision is Capcom's to brand."

"But, correct now our focus is [Life is Foreign]. I really promise we volition be able to work on more Life is Strange [beyond the v episodes]. We need to capitalize on what we have done. It is a remainder of trying different things and capitalizing on what we know. For Flavor 2 we started bouncing ideas off each other. Obviously we need to encounter and Foursquare Enix needs to see how the first season does to really decide whether we kick it off or not. And then, information technology's non in the works, but we have started the very early stages of formulation at Dontnod."

Remember Me, featured a beautifully realised futuristic world and interesting gameplay

It would be great if developer Dontnod Entertainment got the green calorie-free from Capcom on a sequel for Remember Me. The game, even though it had a few shortcomings it featured very solid gameplay, a beautifully realised futuristic world and a very interesting main grapheme. A sequel building on the premise of the original, while improving certain aspects, could prove to be a slap-up title.

Given Dontnod'due south dedication to their latest project, Life is Strange, of which I enjoyed the first episode immensely, information technology could take a while before we run into a sequel to Retrieve Me. Information technology holds true however that Life is Foreign, even though a championship in a completely different genre, it shows the aforementioned amount of vision and artistic talent as the studio's get-go title. I hope that Life is Strange gets the recognition it deserves, and that we get to enjoy an expansive story arc, similar Dontnod Amusement originally intended.
